Fonatur said the attending companies are interested in being construction suppliers of rolling stock, signaling systems and infrastructure for the project. “Among the areas where the participation of companies is required for the construction of the rolling stock of the Maya Train are interiors, electrical components, electronics, metalworking and equipment for workshops, which, in turn, are divided into subcategories that will allow interested parties to apply in the areas most appropriate to the lines and specialties they possess,” Fonatur explained.
The technical meetings between interested suppliers and fair representatives was held by Maite Ramos, General Director of Alstom México, the General Director of Fonatur, Rogelio Jiménez Pons, the Governor of Hidalgo, Omar Fayad and His Excellency the Ambassador of France in Mexico, Jean-Pierre Asvazadourian, among others.
During the fair, interested suppliers presented their work portfolios to specialists from the consortium led by Alstom for the manufacturing of the Maya Train.
