With the participation of approximately 150 wine labels from different parts of the world, as well as the participation of prominent chefs from the Riviera Maya, this week the Wine Fest 2021 was announced, which in its seventh edition will be held next December 4, will bring together the best wine houses.
This was announced by the organizers of this festival, whose seventh edition will be the first they will hold in the post-pandemic after two years of being detained due to the health contingency due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so in this new edition , there will be the opportunity to offer the best of gastronomy and the different wine labels to the attending public.
In this sense, Ángel Sarmiento Flores, general manager of The Fives Beach hotel, highlighted that with this cocktail prior to the festival, they intend to start this event and welcome all the public who like and have followed this festival, where the protagonists will be the chefs and sommeliers.
Juan Carlos Ortiz Barraza, director of Food and Beverages of the hotel complex, highlighted that this cocktail held days before is a replica of what will be held on December 4, where the wine stands will be and in which approximately 130 will participate. and 150 wine labels from different parts of the world, where sparkling, white, rosé and red wines will be exhibited, as well as mixology stations, which will be accompanied by food stations.
The National Association of Sommeliers will participate as guests, with whom there will be two special events: the first will be a tasting table and will be a tasting guided by the national president of said association with one of the flagship wines that exist in the country, and that belongs to one of the northern winemakers, being one of the most outstanding, while the other event will be a tasting and pairing dinner, where there will be a table with the chefs, who will prepare sandwiches that will accompany the wines that will be present at this festival.
