Capacitan a transportistas de Solidaridad para auxiliar a personas con discapacidad

Como parte de los trabajos de inclusión social, el gobierno de Solidaridad que encabeza la presidenta Lili Campos Miranda, a través de la Dirección de Transporte, llevó a cabo una plática de concientización sobre el trato digno hacia el adulto mayor y las personas con discapacidad, dirigida a operadores transportistas del servicio público de Solidaridad, como Tucsa, Playa Express, ADO, Sindicato Lázaro Cárdenas del Río, COR Puerto Aventuras y Del Valle.

El titular de Transporte, Gustavo Selvas Bonifaz, explicó que la finalidad es atender los puntos de inclusividad que demanda la ciudadanía, labor que se ha realizado en coordinación con la Unidad de Atención a Personas con Discapacidad y de la Tercera Edad.

“Es vital para la evolución de nuestra comunidad, garantizar el derecho en igualdad de condiciones, a pertenecer, crecer y dar mejores oportunidades, por ello es importante la profesionalización de los operadores de transporte”, declaró.
El doctor Elías Castillo, especialista en salud mental, fue quien dirigió esta plática y a manera de simulacro puso en práctica con todos los transportistas las deferentes técnicas para auxiliar a personas con discapacidad.

“Es muy importante que primero reconozcan a una persona con discapacidad y sepan que hacer en caso de que la persona se encuentre en silla de ruedas, tenga muletas o tanque de oxígeno”, afirmó.

Otros de los contenidos abordados desde la primera convocatoria a este curso fueron: Primeros auxilios, educación vial, coordinación operativa, técnicas de inmovilización y control, defensa personal, técnicas de control del vehículo, maniobras y responsabilidad al conducir.
Estuvieron presentes Juan Humberto Novelo Zapata, titular de la Secretaria de Justicia Social y Participación Ciudadana; Dagoberto Holguín Pérez, titular de la Unidad de Atención a Personas con Discapacidad y de la Tercera Edad, entre otras autoridades.

Quintana Roo lidera con las artesanías a nivel nacional

Quintana Roo, junto con Jalisco y Oaxaca, son las tres entidades que mayores puestos de trabajo generan por comercializar artesanías.

Así lo da a conocer el Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi), a propósito del Día Internacional del Artesano que se celebra todos los años el 19 de marzo.Según el reporte, la actividad económica generada por las artesanías ascendió a 153 mil 437 millones de pesos, lo que representó 0.6 por ciento del Producto Interno Bruto (PIB) Nacional.

Además, las artesanías generan 479 mil 655 puestos de trabajo ocupados remunerados, principalmente concentrados en Jalisco, Oaxaca y Quintana Roo.

Antes de la pandemia existían 21 mil 115 establecimientos dedicados al comercio al por menor de artesanías, lo cual se desplomó en 2020 y hasta el momento no se han logrado recuperar los niveles previos a la crisis sanitaria.

Actualmente Jalisco concentra 10.2 por ciento de establecimientos de artesanías, seguido de Quintana Roo y Oaxaca con 6.9 por ciento cada uno.

Sin embargo, Quintana Roo es la única entidad en donde los artesanos activos son 50 por ciento hombres y 50 mujeres, en el resto del país, sin excepción, la mayoría de los artesanos son del sexo masculino.
